Action

The Codonas are a family of artistes in its fourth generation. The trapeze artist Alfredo Vera and catcher Lalo are here coached by her father Edward. Alfredo's specialty is a double somersault blindfolded, and the triple somersault, which he ruled until the release of the film as the only artist on the trapeze.

Background

The premiere took place on 12 November 1932. Producer Pete Smith also served as narrator. Short films in 1932 for the first time awarded Oscars. There were three categories: Animation, Comedy ( comedy), and Novelty. Swing High had won the first choice. Mack Sennett found out that his short film Wrestling Swordfish had lost only three votes difference. According to the statutes of the Academy three votes were difference a draw. There was a run-off election, in which Mack Sennett film won.
