Syntax (Band)

Syntax is a group of electronic music style. It was founded in 2002 in London, England by Mike Tournier and Jan Burton.

Band History

After the huge success of the album Risotto of the preceding Fluke by Mike Tournier this project moved to a more spherical and darker genre, which led to the birth of syntax. Since in the course of their production often find problems and conflicts with the label Illustrious Records belonging to Sony BMG Music Entertainment, came syntax was from 2004 placed only once on ice.

In March 2012, you published on your website, the EP Meccano Mind Tools contains the first album still unreleased remixes. The EP can only be obtained on the official website. At the same time you are also published on the website four new songs under the EP titles Tripolar. In December 2012, the EP was released exclusively as a download from your house label Pandephonium. Two more EPs to be released in 2013.

Music

The band has developed over time a modern electronic style of the classic elements like synthesizers with organic characteristics of voice and feeling to each other and their songs creates a certain depth. This is also the style of synth pop and progressive house are included in their album Meccano Mind except the music style electro.
