Takahito Suzuki

Takahito Suzuki (Japanese铃木 贵人, Takahito Suzuki, born August 17, 1975 in Tomakomai, Hokkaidō ) is a Japanese hockey player who stands since 2009 at the Nikko Ice Bucks of the Asia League Ice Hockey under contract.

Career

Takahito Suzuki began his career as a hockey player at the Augustana University, for their hockey team, he was active in the 1996/97 season. From 1998 to 2002 played the winger for the Kokudo Ice Hockey Club in the Japan Ice Hockey League, before he for the Charlotte Checkers aground in the 2002/03 season in the ECHL. For the Checkers, he scored in 72 games 49 scorer points, including 24 goals. From 2003 to 2006 he played for his former team Kokudo Ice Hockey Club Ice Hockey League in the Asia newly founded, where he still took part in the first year after his return with the team to the Japan Ice Hockey League. From 2006 to 2009 he played for the Seibu Prince Rabbits in the Asia League, before joining in the summer of 2009 within the League to the Nikko Ice Bucks, where he has played ever since.

Internationally

For Japan, Suzuki participated in the C- 1997 World Series, the 1999 World Championships, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004 and the World Championships Division I in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2013, in part, with 2010 captain of the Japanese team was.
