Talaus

Talaus (Greek Ταλαός, Latin Talaus ) is a figure from Greek mythology. He was the son of Bias and Pero. Depending on the tradition Eurynome, daughter of Iphitus, Lysimache, daughter of Abas or Lysianassa, daughter of Polybus is named as wife of Talaus. His children were Adrastus, Astynome, Parthenopaios, Pronax, Mecisteus, Aristomachos, Hippomedon and Eriphyle.

Talaus was king of Argos from the house of Biantiden and took part in the voyage of the Argonauts. After his death he was buried in Argos and his son Adrastus took control.
