Taner Ari: A Portrait (2009)

Taner Ari (* May 29, 1987 in Erzincan ) is a Turkish - Austrian footballer.

Ari began his career with 9 years at FC Blau-Weiss Linz in Upper Austria. At 16, he debuted in the first team. In 2005 he took the step towards Spain in the fourth division UD Norte. A year later, he joined the club UD Fuerteventura in the third league. In 2007 he went back to Austria and completed a trial with former Red Zac Erste Liga club SC Swan City, shortly afterwards signed him.

From 2008 to 2010 he was with the newly formed Premiership football club SC Magna Wiener Neustadt with the number 12 under contract, and was there until 31 December 2009 22 times used, and scored one goal his debut in the highest Austrian league gave Ari on 26. There he came to no use, and decided two months later, finally leaving Denizlispor and do his military service in Austria. He was stationed in the army in Mautern. Since January 2013 Ari plays in the reserve team of SKN St. Polten. There he was given a contract until the summer of 2013, including option for two more seasons, as well as a view of a place in the senior squad.
