Tapoa Province

The Tapoa province with its capital Diapaga located in the extreme eastern part of the West African country of Burkina Faso and was named after the river. Larger places besides the provincial capital are Namounou and Tansarga, most of the inhabitants belong to the Gourmantché. In the province Tapoa are the Chaine de Gobnangou, part of the National Park Arly and the Burkinabe part of the cross-border National Park W.
