Tarzan - Lord of the jungle is an American adventure film directed by John Derek from 1981.
Action
The Tarzan motif, this time from the perspective of Jane Parker, who visits her father James Parker on an expedition in Africa known. The group gets in the jungle in different dangers and is rescued by the Nature People Tarzan. Jane falls in love with the powerhouse and finally stays with him.
Criticism
The filmdienst described the film as "an excruciatingly boring remake of the old Classic Film history, which proves to be just as embarrassing as ridiculous personality show for the leading lady. "
Background
The late in May 1998, director, producer and cinematographer John Derek was the husband of Bo Derek. As a photographer, he photographed next to Bo from his previous wives Ursula Andress and Linda Evans for Playboy.
The film was shot in Sri Lanka and the Seychelles.
As Tarzan Lee Canalito was provided, but at the last minute decided otherwise and producer Derek helped so Miles O'Keeffe for his film debut.
Stunt coordinator was Jock Mahoney, who presented in the early 1960s, twice the Tarzan.
