Teodor Peterson

Teodor Anders Peterson (born 1 May 1988 in Umeå ) is a Swedish cross-country skier.

Peterson started at the Junior World Championships 2008 in Val Venosta first time at an international championship. His best result was the 31st place about 10 km classic. In the sprint competition, he retired as the 39th out in qualifying. After a victory in a sprint competition of Scandinavia Cup, he was first nominated in March 2009 for a World Cup competition. In Lahti, he qualified in his first deployment in the World Cup for the quarter- finals of the sprint competition, finishing in 16th place. In the 2009/10 season, he was part of the fixed levy of the Swedish World Cup team in sprint competitions. At the Tour de Ski 2009/2010, he surprised with a fourth and a fifth place in the sprint competitions in Oberhof and Prague. His best result of the season, he scored sixth place in the Canadian Canmore. At the Olympic Games in Vancouver in 2010 he reached the semi-finals, finishing in eleventh place. He finished the season 36th in the overall World Cup and twelfth in sprint. With a twelfth and an eighth place finish at the World Cup competitions in Liberec and Otepaeae it qualified for the Nordic World Ski Championships 2011 in Oslo, Norway, where he finished in 16th place. At the beginning of the season 2011/12, Peterson won the opening event of the Nordic Openings. Also in Dusseldorf, he reached the final round, where he finished fifth. At the same location Peterson continued a day later through against the entire competition and won with his partner Jesper Modin his first team sprint competition.
