Teresa Herrera Trophy
The " Trofeo Teresa Herrera " is a football tournament with Your character, which will be held in the Galician town of La Coruña since 1946. Permanent Participants is the Spanish first division side Deportivo La Coruña.
History
The tournament has been organized since 1946 by the Municipality of La Coruña. Since 2000 it is Deportivo La Coruna to manage the tournament. The tournament is the oldest of its kind in Spain and is one of the most prestigious in the world thanks to the many great teams who have already participated in this tournament. Initially Deportivo played each against a selected opponent before one went to a mode with four teams ( starting from the semi-final ). The matches will be played at the Estadio Riazor, which offers more than 30,000 spectators. In the second half of August, the tournament will be held on two days in honor of the city celebrations. The " Trofeo Teresa Herrera " is considered as an important warm-up tournament in the current season, thanks mainly to the point in time immediately before the season starts.
