Terry Zwigoff
Terry Zwigoff ( born May 18, 1949 in Appleton, Wisconsin) is an American film director and musician.
Career
In 1985 Zwigoffs directorial debut, the documentary Louie Bluie about the blues musician Howard " Louie Bluie " Armstrong. Zwigoff became known for the award-winning documentary about the Crumb comic artist Robert Crumb. He subsequently received turn to " New Orleans Jazz Band Woody Allen with the Eddy Davis " the offer, Wild Man Blues, Woody Allen's jazz band. Zwigoff was, however, Ghost World, the live-action adaptation of the eponymous comics by Daniel Clowes, the preference. For Art School Confidential Zwigoff reunited with Clowes, however, the film failed to match the success of Ghost World.
