The Bad Plus

The Bad Plus is an American jazz trio from Minneapolis, founded in 2000, and since then from Ethan Iverson (Piano ) Reid Anderson ( bass) and Dave King ( drums) exists.

History

Iverson, Anderson and King first played in 1989 together, then lost himself but from the eyes. The Bad Plus they founded in 2000, after they met again in New York City. Their first album the band released after just three gigs on the Fresh Sound label. After an appearance at the Village Vanguard, Columbia Records took the trio in 2002 under contract.
