The Chosun Ilbo

Chosun Ilbo ( Korean newspaper ) is South Korea's newspaper with the largest circulation ( 2,380,000 ) and the oldest still published newspaper in the country ( first edition March 5, 1920, when Korea was a colony of Japan ). Up to 1940, the setting Chosen Nippo newspaper called (Japanese朝鲜 日报), only in the re- formation in 1945, it received its present name. Chosun Ilbo offers not only a Korean, but also Chinese, English (The Chosun Ilbo ) and Japanese online edition.

Her political stance is considered conservative, such as Dong -a Ilbo and JoongAng Ilbo, and the party Hannara Dang inclined. Critically it is against liberals and Roh Moo -hyun and Kim Dae -jung. For this reason, the newspaper sometimes these people and their supporters criticized in conservative colored items, for example, about history, the presidency of Roh Moo -hyun. Another feature compared to other South Korean newspapers is their much more clearly pronounced anti-Japanese attitude.
