The Element of Freedom is the fourth studio album by American R & B singer Alicia Keys. It was released by the label J Records on December 11, 2009, and sold in the United States about two million times, about four million copies were sold worldwide.
Same time as the standard edition and a deluxe version was released, at which two bonus tracks found and also a DVD was settled.

Formation
After the first two singles and Does not Mean Anything Try Sleeping with a Broken Heart had been published previously, The Element of Freedom was published in December 2009. Most successful single from the album was Does not Mean Anything, which was already available before the album's release.
