The Holiday Collection is an EP of American singer-songwriter Madonna. The EP was released in 1991 by Sire Records about half a year after their greatest hits album The Immaculate Collection only on the European market in the distribution of Warner Brothers Records.

Background

The EP was released on CD and cassette with Holiday as the theme song. This EP contains three tracks that were not released on the greatest hits album, The Immaculate Collection, though it had been for Madonna successful hits in the years 1986 and 1987 True Blue ( # 1) Who's That Girl (# 1) Causing a Commotion and (# 4).

With the release as an EP Holiday came for the third time in the UK Singles Chart, the first time in 1984 at No. 6, the second time in 1985 at # 2, at this time was their single Into the Groove at No. 1 reached the third time the Title in June 1991 4th place just a week after the release of the EP Holiday was also placed at number 11 in the UK singles charts, where the plate reached as high for 4th place.
