Remixed Prayers is a remix EP of American singer-songwriter Madonna. The EP was released in August 1989 by Sire Records and Warner Bros. Records as an addition to the album Like a Prayer (1989 ) only in Japan. In July 1993, the EP was released in Australia, as Madonna for the first time gave concerts in Australia with her The Girlie Show tour.

Background information

The EP contains five remixes of Like a Prayer, and three of Express Yourself. The EP was also imported into the United States, the United Kingdom and many other countries, but there never officially released except in Japan and Australia.

The cover image is taken from Madonna's brother Christopher Ciccone. The " MLVC " signature on the cover illustration means " Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone " and the head lying on the "P" string is representing her separation from ex-husband Sean Penn.

The EP reached number 24 in 1989 on the Oricon album charts and stayed a total of 5 weeks in the album charts.
