The Juan MacLean
The Juan MacLean (born John MacLean ) is an American musician, whose music can be largely categorized into the genre Dance and Electronic Punk.
History
MacLean was guitarist of indie band Six Finger Satellite, but soon separated because of internal difficulties; MacLean began thereupon to, in his own studio in Providence, Rhode Iceland to produce. Shortly before the band split up for good, was James Murphy ( LCD Soundsystem ) member of the (later DFA Records) should take under contract afterwards him with his label Death from Above Records.
After Six Finger Satellite broke up, MacLean taught at the University of Rhode Iceland English before he was finally persuaded by James Murphy to return to the music.
2005 MacLean released his first album Less than human. In fall 2006, he participated in the The DFA Remixes Chapter 2 promotional tour part.
MacLean is currently working on his second studio album.
