The New Adventures of Pinocchio (film)

The New Adventures of Pinocchio is a children's film directed by Michael Anderson from the year 1999. The film is a continuation of the children's book Pinocchio by Carlo Collodi, and is the sequel to the film The Adventures of Pinocchio in 1996.

Action

Pinocchio is now a normal boy. His father Gepetto is still woodcarvers. He is working on a doll for the royal puppet contest to get his work a position at court. Pinocchio, however, want to become an entrepreneur with a friend.

At the fair, the two meet Madame Flambeau. From her they want to buy for Gepetto, who suffers from exhaustion, an elixir that gives him strength again. However, since there is no money for it, Pinocchio contracted to work for Madame Flambeau. However, he does not know that it should operate as a puppet in the Madame Flambeau wants to transform it with the alleged elixir.
