Reviews

" Likeable animation fun with wonderfully oddball characters. Compared with previous works from the creative Knetfigur Aardman animation forge the film does offer rather little innovative, but has yet highly entertaining. "

" As in, Wallace and Gromit' movies or, Chicken Run - racing hens ' fascinated by this Aardman production with an exuberant love of detail. In lovingly crafted stop-motion technique here an adventure with plasticine figures is created which has no equal. Even if the British humor could have been, make funny dialogues and sometimes breathtaking slapstick for family fun. "

" The Pirates! - A strange bunch does not quite to the high bar set in the early works of Aardman approach, but it still offers tons of outrageous fun, which does not rely on nowadays popular pop culture jokes or toilet humor. One can only hope that it does not remain in a movie, wait for it four more books about his motley crew pirate captain and to be filmed. "
