Reviews

" Princess and the Frog not only impresses with its beautifully nostalgic style of drawing, but also delights with original characters like the music crazy alligator Louis or the love firefly Ray. And while the musical numbers in previous Disney adventures often were just annoying interruptions of the plot, are written by Randy Newman Cajun, Zydeco and Dixieland songs of the highlights of the film. Conclusion: The dark voodoo scenes are available for small children to frightening, but regardless, the film exudes plenty of Disney magic. "

" Disney would have celebrated a better comeback in the classic cartoon. This film to tears, and he leaves tears laughing. Walt Disney would have been proud of him. "

" Princess and the Frog is a pleasure because he drawing briskly, jazz, swing and gospel music by Randy Newman catchy, and because Tiana is a thoroughly modern interpretation of the Disney princess. Not because it now represents the first black animated heroine of the studio, finally they jump around so most of the time in green. But that Tiana dreams of her own restaurant instead of princes and palaces, which gives the happy ending times a different twist. "

"With Princess and the Frog Disney realized a dream for all emancipated mothers who want to teach their daughters more than their future task will be to kiss at the right moment from the real prince and make salvage it. Despite the very moral message and the sometimes somewhat too exaggerated stereotypes of the film Children and parents alike will delight. Especially thanks to its charming, typical, Disney - style characters and the whimsically - jazzy soundtrack. However, the very young viewers should not be all too scared, because the voodoo magic of Dr. Facilier and his evil spirits have it in them. "
