The Thrillseekers

The Thrillseekers (often just Thrillseekers ) is a successful, founded in 1998, trance project of the British Steve Helstrip.

Biography

During his work at the computer game developer Manic Media Steve Helstrip began producing electronic music and eventually created in his hitherto relatively modest home studio the track " Synaesthesia ". He was impressed by his unique style taken in 1998 by the record label Neo Records and published his work shortly thereafter by the stage name The Thrillseekers. The plate came across unexpectedly wide acceptance and was able to record only in the British edition of 12,000 copies sold.

However, the way to an international and commercial success only through the support of Paul van Dyk was made possible, which itself played the track at events and finally released it again a year later, along with a remix on his own label Vandit. This version, which is now in addition to singing Sheryl Deans involved, made ​​it in the first week at number 28 in the UK charts and celebrated in hundreds of other countries - including Germany - great success.

This was followed by remixes for and by artists such as Ferry Corsten, Tiësto, Timo Maas, Sonique and Chicane and other successful productions and performances as a DJ.

Steve Helstrip still works alongside The Thrillseekers on other successful projects, such as En -Motion, Insigma (along with Andy ' Pulser ' Perring ) and Rapid Eye ( along with Tim Stark of ATCR Records).

In 2003 he founded his own label Adjusted Music.
