The Unseen (band)

The Unseen is an American punk band from Boston, Massachusetts, which was founded in 1994. They belong to the Boston punk scene.

Band History

The Unseen went out of the band The Extinct forth, in the Mark, Tripp and Paul Morey played. After problems with the singer of this band prompted the three to try it with his own band, where they were soon joined by vocalist Mark Carlson. However, Paul soon lost interest in making music and devoted himself to skating.

After the addition of Scott Hadyia and Phil Reily had finally found the line-up, the The Unseen designate themselves as their founding lineup. Much like the Ramones, some band members designated from now on with the band name as a stage name.

In the further history of the band was followed by countless line-up changes. The positions of the instruments changed as well as the members.

Influences

The band indicates, in particular by groups like the Misfits, The Clash and Bad Religion to have been affected.

On Tour

How many bands in the genre also play The Unseen live tirelessly. Meanwhile, they were also to be seen already in Japan and Europe. The list of bands with whom they played already is long and includes, inter alia, names like AFI, The Casualties, Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly, Millencolin, Anti-Flag, Sick of It All, Avenged Sevenfold, Rancid, Agnostic Front and Hatebreed.
