Thomas Gabriel Fischer

Thomas Gabriel Fischer ( born July 19, 1963), also known by his stage name Tom Tom G. Warrior or Warrior, is a Swiss singer and guitarist. He was known primarily as the lead singer of Celtic Frost. He is considered a pioneer of the compact Grow in Death Metal.

Career

Together with Steve Warrior 1982 he founded the band Hellhammer. At that time he also called himself " Satanic Slaughter ". 1983 met bassist and songwriter Martin Eric Ain them. After a series of demos and EP Apocalyptic Raids, the band broke up in 1984.

Fischer and Ain founded in the same year Frost Celtic. Fischer produced through 1985, the first demo for Coroner, of which two members were working as a roadie for Celtic Frost.

In 1994, Fischer Apollyon Sun and turned so that EBM and Industrial sounds to. In 2004 he was involved in Dave Grohl's Probot project.

Fischer was chosen by the magazine Guitar World ranked 32 of the 100 best metal guitarists 2004. In 2010 he received the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Award in the category "Inspiration".
