The Thouet is a river in France, which runs into the regions Poitou-Charentes and Pays de la Loire. It rises in the municipality of Le Beugnon, dehydrated general direction of north to northeast, reaching the Regional Natural Park Loire -Anjou- Touraine and ends after 143 kilometers in the municipality of Saumur as a left tributary of the Loire. On his way he crosses the departments of Deux -Sèvres and Maine -et -Loire.
