Thuso Mpuang
Thuso Mpuang (born 1 March 1984) is a South African sprinter and Olympian. He celebrated his greatest successes so far by winning two gold medals at the European Athletics Championships 2008 Africa in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa and two bronze medals at the student competitions of Universiade. Mpuang is enrolled at the University of the Free State.
The 1.77 m wide and 75 -kg athlete occupied each over 200 meters at the Youth World Championships 2005 in Marrakech the eleventh and at the Junior World Championships in 2006 in Beijing to fourth place. In this same city two years later he was also in the South African squad for the Olympic Summer Games 2008. Season 4 × 100 meters but lost in the first heat when changing the bar and retired. In the 200 -meter run Mpuang reached the second round.
