2005 World Youth Championships in Athletics
The 4th IAAF World Youth Championships took place from 13 to 17 July 2005 in the Moroccan city of Marrakech in the local Stade Sidi Youssef Ben Ali instead.
It was the largest ever World Youth Championship with nearly 1,400 athletes from 179 countries.
The German Athletics Federation ( DLV) had sent 16 boys and 13 girls to the competitions.
