2001 World Youth Championships in Athletics
The 2nd IAAF World Youth Championships took place from 12 to 15 July 2001 in Debrecen, Hungary in the local István Gyulai Athletics Stadium.
Of 166 countries, 1,335 athletes were registered.
The German Athletics Federation ( DLV) had sent 23 boys and 23 girls to the competitions.
