Band History

The band was founded in 1998 when Giuseppe and Claudio Bondì DiPrima, the acting out previously in a cover band Power Metal, had the idea to play their own music. Soon the band's other posts were occupied and they played with Maurizio Malta, Giovanni Santini, Michele Cristofalo and Dario Grillo their first demo tape called "Sword, Crown and Shields " one, which contained only three titles. Soon she took on a second demo tape, which was met with great criticism. It was chosen by Metal Hammer at the best demo in May 1999, Thy Majestie then signed a contract with Scarlet Records. Shortly after, bassist Cristofalo left the band and was replaced by Dario D' Alessandro.

In March 2000, they started recording their first album "The Lasting Power " that met with largely positive assessment. With him, they went back into the studio in September 2004, this time her own music studio to produce a new album. However, the recordings were difficult according to the band and they can finalize this until June 2005. " Jeanne d' Arc ", the name of the new album, was released in October 2005 and is again a concept album, this time by the Holy Jeanne d' Arc. As Thy Majestie had given her first concert in April 2005 after the singer's illness, the band could no longer close our eyes to the Ungeeignetkeit Giulio Di Gregorio as an English singer of the band, because this does not speak good English. Other disagreements led to a separation of the singer of the music band.

Again in search of a singer you tried it first with the American Matt Aub, however lived too far away to really contribute effectively to.
