Tikitiki, formerly Kahukura, is a small community in the Gisborne region in the northeast of the North Island of New Zealand. It lies on the north side of the lower reaches of the Waiapu River, near its mouth at Rangitukia. The town is located 150 km north of the city of Gisborne.

State Highway 35 runs through the town, which thus is the easternmost point of New Zealand's highway system.

Tikitiki has a primary school with a decile rating of 1 and 35 students ( 01/ 2009)

In the community there is a 1924 as a memorial to the dead in World War 1 soldiers from the Ngāti Porou iwi built and consecrated in 1926 Māori church, Saint Mary's Church. In the church there is a plaque dedicated to the fallen of the place and a memorial plaque for the Māoripolitiker Sir Apirana Ngata, on the back the initiative to build the church using traditional craft techniques of Māori.
