Toe Fat

Toe Fat was an English rock band that was active from 1969 to 1971.

Band History

In 1969, Cliff Bennett did after he had dissolved his previous band, along with the remains of the group The Gods and gave the new band name to Toe Fat. For the original cast included Ken Hensley (keyboards, guitar), John Glascock (bass, replaced the initial bassist John Glascock Kona ) and Lee Kerslake (drums).

After the debut album Toe Fat (1970 ) first left Hensley, Kerslake then the group and formed with David Byron, Paul Newton and Mick Box Uriah Heep. For they came Brian Glascock (drums) and Alan Kendall ( guitar).

As also the second album Toe Fat Two ( 1971) was not a commercial success, the project Toe Fat was terminated.
