Toivo Hyytiäinen

Toivo Hyytiäinen ( Armas Toivo Hyytiäinen; born November 12, 1925 in Saarijärvi; † 21 October 1978) was a Finnish javelin thrower.

At the 1952 Olympics in Helsinki, he won the bronze medal behind the Americans Cy Young and Bill Miller. Two years earlier, he won gold at the European Athletics Championships in Brussels, before the Swede Per- Arne Berglund and Ragnar Ericson.
