Tomás Hernández

Tomás Hernández Burillo ( born February 19, 1930 in Zaragoza, † January 2, 1982 ibid ), also known as Moreno, was a Spanish footballer.

Career

Moreno came in 1951 by the Spanish club UD Huesca to FC Barcelona. There, the striker was in his first season part of the legendary " Barça de les Cinc Copes " ( five- cups - Barça ), which won all the trophies in the season 1951/52. Moreno played here with the Barça legends Estanislao Basora, César, Kubala László and in a team. In the season 1952/53, he was with 22 league goals in 30 matches the top scorer of his team, and was the number two scorer in the Primera División behind Zarra. In addition, he won the championship again this season, the Cup and the Super Cup. After he won with Barcelona no more titles in the following years, he left Barcelona in 1955 in the direction of UD Las Palmas. After one year, Moreno moved to Real Zaragoza, where he but in the period of two years was not able to his old form and not even played half of all league games.

On July 5, 1953 Moreno debuted in the dress of the Spanish national team in the game against Argentina. A week later he denied even his second and last match in a 2-1 win over Chile.
