Tommy Davidson

Tommy Davidson ( born November 10, 1963 in Washington, DC ) is an American actor.

Life and achievements

Davidson was adopted as an infant. He studied at the University of District of Columbia. He played his first role in an episode of the anthology series CBS Summer Playhouse from 1989 In the comedy Strictly Business (1991 ) he played the lead role.; in the supporting roles were seen among others Samuel L. Jackson and Halle Berry.

In the comedy Booty Call - One -night stand with obstacles ( 1997), Davidson starred with Tamala Jones, Jamie Foxx and Vivica A. Fox one of the main roles. In the comedy Woo (1998) he played a man who agreed with by Woo ( Jada Pinkett Smith). In the comedy It's Showtime, he played on the side of Damon Wayans and Jada Pinkett Smith, for this role he was nominated for a Black Reel Award in 2001. In the years 2001 to 2005, to hear his voice in the animated series The Proud Family; this voice brought him in the years 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 nominations for the Image Award. For the voice in the resulting film based on the series The Proud Family Movie (2005) 2006, he received another nomination for the Image Award.
