Tomra

Tomra Systems ASA is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange Norwegian manufacturer of reverse vending machines.

The company was founded in 1972 by the brothers Petter and gates plank. The name is derived from: Tomflaske (Norwegian for " Empty Bottle " ) and Retur Machine ( return machine ).

Worldwide, the company employs over 2,000 employees, including about 300 in Germany.

The headquarters of the company is Asker. The German branch was located in Hilden; a transfer of the seat to Langenfeld (Rheinland) done in 2011.

Currently, approximately 65,000 vending machines in more than 30 countries are installed, including approximately 23,000 in Germany.
