Tordera

Tordera is a Catalan city in the province of Barcelona, in northeastern Spain. It is located in the comarca of Maresme on the eponymous river.

Culture and sights

Even if the tourist neighboring towns of Blanes and Palafolls are only about six kilometers away, on the Costa Brava, tourism plays in Tordera not matter. The main attraction is the San Esteve Church. The Romanesque - Gothic church from the 16th century at the main entrance bears the date 1803, which refers to the last rebuilding of the temple.

Economy and Transport

Over the railway line Rodalies de Catalunya Tordera is connected to the city of Barcelona ( line 1). Tordera is right on the highway-like -developed N -II, which continues in the neighboring El mas carbo in the C-32 motorway to Barcelona.
