Touché Amoré

Touché Amoré is an American screamo band from Los Angeles (USA ), which was established in 2007. Touché Amoré is seen as part of the screamo revival, they also heard along with Defeater, La Dispute, Make Do and Mend and Pianos Become the Teeth to the post-hardcore movement " The Wave ".

History

The band released their debut single 7 " in September 2008 on No Sleep Records. After several trips to the West Coast they took in January 2009 their first album ... To the Beat of a Dead Horse in the Earth Capital Studios on which both was released on the label 6131 as well as Geoff Ricklys ( Thursday ) label Collect Records. the album received generally positive reviews, including from Sputnik Music, Punknews.org, and alternative Press. was also included in several leaderboards, 2009.

The band played over 250 concerts in 2009 and 2010, inter alia, as the opening act from Thursday, Converge, Envy, And So I Watch You from Afar and Strike Anywhere, here the end of 2010 also first concerts in Europe.

2010 published two split EPs, where Touché Amoré was involved: Searching For A Pulse / The Worth Of The World with La Dispute and Touché Amoré / Make Do and Mend Make Do and Mend with.

Touché Amore's second studio album, Parting the Sea Between Brightness and Me was released on June 7, 2011 on independent label Deathwish Inc.. The band worked with producer and sound engineer, while Ed Rose in his Black Lodge Recording Studio in Eudora (Kansas). The album was album of the month at the German music magazine Visions and landed at No. 6, the annual " Album Of The Year" charts from Rock Sound.

The band played after the publication of more than 200 concerts in North America, Australia and Europe, including well as support for Rise Against and at various festivals such as the Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin in the U.S. or the Hevy Music Festival in England .. Touché Amoré Moreover played as support for Converge on their European tour in December 2012

On January 22, 2013, Split - EP was released with Pianos Become the Teeth, another band from the The Wave movement. In addition, a split EP was released with the band Title Fight, Touché Amoré on their song covers Crescent -Shaped Depression and Title Fight which was released on Parting the Sea Between Brightness and Me Song Face Ghost.

Touché Amore's third album Is Survived By appeared on 27 September 2013. Acts The album lyrically and musically more positive than the predecessor and the songs like the whole album also became a little longer. Is Survived By was album of the month of September in the German music magazine Visions and was available for subscribers as a staple side dish.
