Town of Bassendean
- 31.9115.95Koordinaten: 31 ° 54 ' S, 115 ° 57' O The Town of Bassendean is a Local Government Area ( LGA) in the Australian state of Western Australia. Bassendean is part of the metropolis of Perth, the capital of Western Australia. The area is 11 km ² and has about 13,000 inhabitants.
Bassendean is located on the Swan River about 10 km northeast of the city center of Perth. The area includes three neighborhoods: Ashfield, Bassendean and Eden Hill. The seat of the City Council is in the Bassendean area in the middle of the LGA, where about 8800 inhabitants.
Management
The Bassendean Council has eight members ( three each from the East and West Ward, two from the North Ward ) elected by the inhabitants of the three Wards. From the circle of Councillor also the President of the Council and Mayor ( Mayor ) of the Towns recruited.
