Tracey Ullman

Tracey Ullman ( born December 30, 1959 in Slough, Berkshire ) is a British actress and singer, who now lives in the United States.

Versatile entertainer

Ullman first appeared in British TV shows, and produced songs for the London music label Stiff Records. In the years 1983 and 1984 reached six plates of the British Ullman list top 100

From 1987 to 1990 she appeared in the Tracey Ullman Show on what they 1989 and 1990, the Emmy Award won over the years and has been nominated several times for the same price in different categories. For this show, the animated series The Simpsons comes. In 1988, she won the Golden Globe Award and 1989 and 1990 she was nominated for the same price. They also won in 1988, 1990 and 1991, the American Comedy Award.

Ullman played in the movie A demanzipierte woman (1985 ) opposite Meryl Streep in the comedy I Love You to Death (1990 ) she took on opposite Kevin Kline one of the main roles. In the television series Tracey Ullman: A Class Act (1992 ), she starred alongside Michael Palin. From 1996 to 1999 she played the lead role in the comedy television show Tracey Takes On ..., for which she was nominated in 1997 for a Golden Globe. In 1998, she won the Golden Satellite Award, in 1999, the Screen Actors Guild Award, in the years 1998, 1999 and 2000, the American Comedy Award, in 1996 the CableACE Award in two categories. She was also seen in the first three seasons of the series Ally McBeal as a therapist the main character.

For her role in the film Small Time Crooks, in which she starred alongside Woody Allen, she was nominated for a Golden Globe and an American Comedy Award. For her starring role in the TV movie Tracey Ullman in the Trailer Tales ( 2003) she was nominated for an Emmy Award.

Ullman was married from 1983 until his death on December 24, 2013, Allan McKeown and has two children: John and Mabel. It was in 2003 a citizen of the United States in the year.
