Life
His first start in a Formula 1 Grand Prix graduated from the owner of a car repair shop in the 1961 season at the Grand Prix of the Netherlands for Lotus, after 1958 and 1961, has already achieved the British Formula 3 Championship. His best finish was a second place in his second Formula 1 race at the Grand Prix of the Netherlands in 1962.
Overall, Taylor competed in 27 Formula - 1 races and reached this eight championship points. 19 starts, he completed for Lotus. In the season of 1964, he started seven times for the team British Racing Partnership; only two races ( the Belgian Grand Prix and the Grand Prix of the USA), he was able to finish.
After a break in 1965, he drove his last Formula 1 race at the Grand Prix of Great Britain a Shannon SH-1 for the Shannon team in the season 1966.
He then continued his motorsport career continued in Formula 5000, in which he always import top positions until his retirement from active racing events in 1972.
