Troféu Joaquim Agostinho

The Grande Prémio Internacional de Torres Vedras - Joaquim Agostinho Troféu ( Portuguese for: Grand International price of Torres Vedras - Joaquim Agostinho trophy ) is a Portuguese cycling stage race. It is now dedicated to the 1943 born here cyclist Joaquim Agostinho, who crashed in the Tour of Algarve in 1984 and a few days later died of his injuries.

The race was held in 1978 for the first time and place each year since the beginning of July. The venue is the Portuguese Region Torres Vedras. Since 2005, one of the stage race for UCI Europe Tour and is classified in category 2.2. Record winner are the Spaniard David Bernabeu and the three Portuguese Ricardo Mestre, Joaquim Sampaio and Joaquim Gomes, who could already decide for the race twice each. With the Swiss Fabian Jeker in 2003 and Hardy Groeger from the GDR in 1983, two drivers from the German-speaking countries are among the previous winners of the competition.
