Trojanovice

Trojanovice ( German Trojanowitz, also Troyersdorf ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located four kilometers southeast of FRENŠTÁT pod Radhoštěm and belongs to Okres Nový Jičín.

Geography

Trojanovice extends at the foot of the Moravian- Silesian Beskydy Mountains in the Valley of Lomná up to their confluence in the creek Bystrý. North-east rises the Skalka (964 m ) in the southeast, the Velka Stolová ( 1049m ), south of the Tanečnice ( 1084 m), Norici hora ( 1047 m) and Radhosť ( 1129 m ) and west of the Velky Javorník (918 m).

Neighboring towns are Liščí Mlýn and Planiska in the north, Kunčice pod Ondřejníkem, Na Pekliskách and Lázně Skalka in the northeast, Bystré in the east, Pusteven the southeast, Ráztoka, Horni Rozpité and Dolni Bečva in the south, Pindula, Horni Paseky and Rožnov pod Radhoštěm in the southwest, Buzkovice and Kopaná in the west and FRENŠTÁT pod Radhoštěm in the northwest.

History

Probably the first Paseken (single copies) emerged on the territory of the municipality at the beginning of the 14th century after the founding of FRENŠTÁT. A number of 36 such wilderness farms has been handed down from the year 1600 for the first time and about 150 years later their number had grown to about 200. The Pasekaren were both of episcopal rule Hukvaldy and the city FRENŠTÁT liable for military service and had after the growth of the settlement a strong interest in the establishment of a stately village, thereby their obligations to the city to be single.

1748 came the Olomouc Bishop Julius Ferdinand Troyer according to the wishes of the settlers and sat Václav Košárek as bailiff of a Pasekarendorfes. On August 30, 1758 Bishop issued the certificate of incorporation for the eponymous village Troyersdorf. In the following period, the Czech form of the name Trojanovice arose and, derived from the German form of the name Trojanowitz.

After the abolition of patrimonial Trojanovice / Trojanowitz formed in 1850 a municipality in the district Mistek. At this time, set up a large wave of emigration to North America, which lasted until the beginning of the 20th century. About 500 residents left in this time Trojanovice and were mainly reflected in the zentraltexanischen places Fayetteville, Weimar, Hostyna and Dubiny. During the time of the Protectorate Bohemia and Moravia, the town got back the old name Troyersdorf. In 1940, the commissioning of the cable car Ráztoky - Pusteven was. The design of this chair lift was unique in the world. The base station is located at the hotel Ráztoka in 620 m After the Second World War Trojanovice was assigned to the Okres FRENŠTÁT pod Radhoštěm and came in 1961 after the dissolution of the Okres Frýdek- Místek.
