Tryptamine

Tryptamine are chemical compounds from 2 - derived (indol -3-yl ) -ethylamine. You are metabolic products of many living organisms ( especially plants ) and are among the indole alkaloids. Prominent derivatives tryptamine structure are the neurotransmitters serotonin and melatonin, the amino acid tryptophan and the hallucinogens dimethyltryptamine and psilocybin.
