Tunay Torun (born 21 April 1990 in Hamburg ) is a German -Turkish football player.

Career

In the club

Youth

He initially played only in kindergarten soccer and six years old he went to the nursery for a tournament. At the same time a good friend of his had just started at FC St. Pauli and his father said to his father, Your son has my opinion talent. He should sign him in the club and so he landed at FC St. Pauli. He was not allowed to play at first, the older guys he was too small. Torun has apart from Turkish and German citizenship. After Torun own statement he had been contacted by Matthias Sammer as a player of the Turkish U-16 selection. However, Torun played international matches for the various U- Turkish national team.

On February 9, 2011 Torun debut in a friendly against South Korea (0-0 ) for the Turkish national team. He came on in the 59th minute.
