Ryan Babel

Ryan Babel Guno ( born December 19, 1986 in Amsterdam) is a Dutch football player. In addition to Dutch nationality he possesses the of Suriname.

Career

Association

Babel began playing football at SV Diemen, then Fortius moved to Amsterdam. After he was the first attempt to come to his dream club Ajax Amsterdam, still failed, he was discovered in 1998 by the Ajax scouts and joined the Ajax youth. Even as a 16- year-old he was in the squad for the first team. He celebrated his Erstligadebüt early 2004.

From the season 2004/ 05 he was a regular in the first team to use and products obtained by regular gates. For the season 2007/ 08 he spent 18 million euros for Liverpool FC and signed a five year contract there. From 1 September 2007 against Derby County he scored his first Premier League matches.

In January 2011 Babel moved to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. He signed a contract for two and a half years until 30 June 2013 with an option for a further year and was given the shirt number 10, his first competitive match use he had on 26 January 2011 at the DFB Cup quarter final match at FC Energie Cottbus. In his tenth league game, he scored 9 April 2011 at SC Freiburg his first goal for Hoffenheim; TSG still lost with 2:3. On August 29, 2012, Babel agreed with the club on a contract.

Then Babylon came in summer 2012 to Ajax Amsterdam back. He signed a one year contract.

For Summer 2013, he joined the Turkish Süper Lig on Kasımpaşa Istanbul. The Istanbullus he signed a three-year contract.

National

In his first race for the Dutch national football team on 26 March 2005 ( 2-0 win over Romania), he led also the same with a goal and with 18 years he was there the youngest scorer national team for over 60 years. He belonged to the Dutch squad for the FIFA World Cup 2006 in Germany, where he appeared as a substitute in the group match against Argentina. Babel was in front of his club colleagues Hedwiges Maduro became the youngest player in the Dutch 2006 World Cup selection.

Ryan Babel has been appointed as part of the nomination for the 2008 European Football Championship in the Dutch national team, but was injured during training on 31 May 2008, and retired while a torn ligament in the ankle. A few days later, he was appointed to the extended squad for the Olympic Games in Beijing. Later it came to the final nomination for the Olympics.

Music

On June 21, 2008, the Dutch rapper Darryl published along with Ryan Babel and two other Dutch artists the song " Eeyeeyo ".

Beginning of 2010 brought Babel (aka Rio), together with JR ( Vurnon Anita ), Lerra F ( Leroy Fer ) & Priest ( Mitchell Burgzorg ) the piece Misgunners out. This number is a remix to Drake's "Forever".
