Tweed is located in the extreme northeast of the country on the Pacific Coast and the Queensland border about 130 km southeast of the city of Brisbane and 820 km north-east of Sydney. The area covers 120 districts and towns, including Banora Point, Bogangar, Burringbar, Chillingham, Condong, Eungella, Fingal Head, Hastings Point, Kunghur, Mooball, Murwillumbah, Pottsville Beach, Tumbulgum, Tweed Heads, Tyalgum, Uki, ​​as well as parts of Bilambil, Kingscliff and Terranora. North West of the town of Murwillumbah is located on an old farm the jungle camp of RTL.
