Tyler Mosienko

Tyler Mosienko ( born March 21, 1984 in West St. Paul, Manitoba ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since 2009 in the Nuremberg Ice Tigers of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga under contract. His grandfather Bill Mosienko played from 1941 to 1955 for the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League.

Career

Tyler Mosienko began his career as a hockey player in Canada's top junior Western Hockey League in which he was active for the Kelowna Rockets 2000-2005. He then played one year for Greenville Grrrowl in the ECHL before he was taken in the summer of 2006 of their league rivals Las Vegas Wranglers under contract, for which he stood in the following three seasons on the ice. During this period, the Center also completed games for the American Hockey League teams Bridgeport Sound Tigers, Manchester Monarchs and Rockford IceHogs. Before the season 2009/10, the Canadian has been committed by the Nuremberg Ice Tigers of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga.
