The U2 U218 Singles album contains a selection of 16 singles and two new songs.

Background

The two songs were recorded in September of 2006 in the London Abbey Road Studios. Were produced the new title of Rick Rubin, the song The Saints Are Coming has been recorded together with Green Day for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. The second new song on the album is Window in the Skies. Both new songs were also released as a single. The sold in the UK version of the album also contains a nineteenth track I Will Follow.
