Ubaldo Righetti

Ubaldo Righetti (* March 1, 1963 in Sermoneta ) is a former Italian footballer who was active during his playing career for AS Roma, Udinese Calcio, U.S. Lecce and Pescara Calcio. In addition, he completed eight games for the Italian national football team.

Ubaldo Righetti began his career at a young age in the U.S. Latina and moved in 1980 to AS Roma, with whom he was in the 1980/81 season under head coach Nils Liedholm the Italian Cup competition, the Coppa Italia win. After he completed only a few games in the first two years, he played in the 1982/83 season twelve league games, and in the following year the defender received 21 bets in Serie A. In 1983 won Righetti with the Brussels residents his first Scudetto and won in the seasons 1983/84 and 1985/86 the Italian Cup competition. After just one season in Serie A with the club he joined as a Table again. In the following years Pescara Righetti finished with moderate midfield ranks in Serie B and was successful in the league. In 1995 he ended his active career.

National

Righetti was appointed in 1982 by Azeglio Vicini the first time in the squad of the Italian U- 21 team, for whom he made ​​his debut on 27 October 1982 in the match against Romania. The defender was appointed national coach Enzo Bearzot in November 1983 for the first time in the squad of the Italian national team.
