Ulla Trenter
Ulla Trenter ( born December 18, 1936 in Stockholm as Ulla Anderson) is a Swedish writer and translator.
Life
Trenter went on to graduate as a translator at the University of Stockholm. She was married to the mystery writer Stieg Trenter. From 1959 until his death in 1967, she learned a lot from his abilities. Then she started her own career as a writer by ( "Der Rosenkavalier" ) finished Stieg Trenters just begun Roman Rosenkavaljeren. From reviewers and publishers cheered, she took the letter away in search of her husband and took his people gallery with photographer Harry Friberg as a problem solver and adversary of detective superintendent Vesper Johnson. They did not particularly like this series of the 1950s, but in some books and experimented with changing the habits of the characters or let them dressed occur. In 1982, they introduced a new main character.
Trenter has a large number of detective novels and in 1979, co-written by the artist Harry Karlsson, a book about Marie Fred. In the 1980s, she worked for several years as a study organizer of the community college and from 1987 at the People's accounting. Since 1975 she is politically active for the Centre Party, is mainly interested in cultural and religious issues and sings in the choir. She is a member of a number of non-political organizations, including Zonta International, the Crime Writers' Association in Stockholm, the Swedish crime writers academy and Save the Children.
In 1991 she published her 23 detective novel Sköna Juveler ( " Beautiful Jewels "). Although Trenter has also had success with crime novels, it deals best with the literary form of the short story. The small format and the special demands of the composition, it prepares both as a writer and reader of joy. She herself has said that she wrote the one hand, for pleasure and entertainment, but also to leave a daily scene of the seventies, eighties and nineties in Sweden.
1997 her book Kungens lilla piga ( " The King's little maid " ) was reissued in 1998 and came again Döda rummet ( " The dead space " ) out. Her book Stieg Trenters mat ( " Stieg Trenters food" ) is a fascinating mix of biography and cookbook. Her latest work is a translation of the biography of Agatha Christie.
