Ulrich Müller-Doppler
Ulrich Georg Müller- Doppler (born 7 August 1962 according to other sources 1961 in Cologne) is a German flutist. He's since June 2013 professor of flute at the Liceo de Cagayan University in the Philippines.
Life
Ulrich Müller- Doppler comes from the family of the flutist and composer Albert Franz Doppler and Karl Doppler. He began his musical education at the age of four and studied with Walter Jeschke in Duisburg, Mathias Rütters in Essen and Jean Michel Tanguy in Brussels. He had private lessons and master classes with Jean -Pierre Rampal in Paris. He graduated with a Diplôme Supérieur with Jean Michel Tanguy from the Royal Conservatory in Brussels. He also attended master classes with Peter Lukas Graf and Andras Adorjan.
He played with various orchestras such as the Berlin Philharmonic, the Folkwang Chamber Orchestra Essen, Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra, the Rome Festival Orchestra ( as a solo flutist Claudio Abbado ) and the Orchestre National de Belgique. He has appeared as soloist and chamber musician at various festivals, including 1996 at the International Flute Festival in Rome ( Academia de Flautista ) and 1998 at the International Flute Association of America with concerts and master classes in Boston, Atlanta and New Orleans.
He is a soloist and member of chamber music trio Le Trio de Bruxelles, he, together with Jean Michel Tanguy and Erich Meier moth .. In 1999, he was with the trio De Bruxelles on a concert tour in Korea. Followed in 2000 with the Trio de Bruxelles, a tour of the Benelux countries.
Müller- Doppler has worked as an editor and published transcriptions of Johann Sebastian Bach, Tchaikovsky and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart for flute and piano published by Universal Edition. Müller- Doppler processed inter alia Mozart Divertimenti KV 439b five, in the original cast for two clarinets ( basset ) and bassoon, flute and piano.
In the tradition of Jean Pierre Rampal, he works lost musical works such as Romantic Violin compositions for flute and piano and includes them on tape.
