Under the Radar over the Top

Under the Radar Over the Top is the fourteenth studio album by the German dance band Scooter. It was published on 2 October 2009 at Scooters own label Sheffield Tunes. The album was recorded in 2009 in the Sheffield Underground Studios by HP Baxxter, Rick J. Jordan, Michael Simon and Jens Thele produced. It went straight to # 2 on the media controls, making it the highest album placement, which have reached Scooter in Germany so far.

It is a standard edition of the album available, as well as a limited edition, in addition to the normal CD both a DVD is included showing a Scooter interview and excerpts from various visits abroad, as well as a second CD, after which, according to HP Are Baxxter, "Scooter atypical " songs. Style

A characteristic feature of the album is the great use of Hardstyle elements. Was the last album still held in Jumpstyle, so it is harder this time in the sound.

The single version of The Sound Above My Hair has been amended and now contains no Hardstyle elements more. The original purely instrumental parts were taken out and replaced by chants and bagpipes.

In Ti Sento the chorus is sung by a female singer, but. Not normally pitched voice, but from the original performer of the song, Antonella Ruggiero The Track Second Skin sings H. P. Baxxter itself

Clic Clac and Metropolis are the only instrumental tracks on the album. In number to this is in comparison to other albums scooter, rather little.

Singles

On 14 August 2009 the single J'adore Hardcore was released. They went straight to number 12 in the Media Control. In the video for the single can be seen Scooter frontman HP Baxxter, the band in a music hall, and several Melbourne shuffle dancers.

On October 2, appeared on the same day as the album, the single Ti sento, which is a cover version of the same song by the Italian band Matia Bazar. They went straight to number 11 in the Media Control. The following week the title climbed to position 10 on the charts and is therefore Scooters 23 top-ten hit in Germany. On November 27, the third single release appeared from the album: The Sound Above My Hair.
